The Royal Palace Open today 10.00-17.00

For children

The palace's grand state rooms, the mediaeval gate at the Tre Kronor Museum and the crowns in the Treasury are just a few of the exciting things for children to see. Our younger visitors will particularly enjoy activity trails.

Animal safari – activity trail for children

Wild animals are hiding in the large rooms of the palace. On the walls, on the ceilings, on objects and on furniture. Some are large, and some are small… Now it's a matter of finding them!

Collect a map from the front desk, and turn a tour of the palace into a voyage of discovery. The animals on the map can be found in the state rooms, and it's up to you to find them.

Carry out the task by yourself during ordinary opening hours. The activity is suitable for children of all ages.

Extra programmes during school holidays

During the Easter, autumn and Christmas holidays, there will be additional events with free entry for children when accompanied by an adult. During the school holidays, there will be tasks that children can carry out themselves (accompanied by an adult). Programmes are advertised in menu Calendar.
